A Turn of Events: Action Cards for Adventurous Souls is a set of cards in PDF format intended to add a fun extra dimension to gaming sessions by increasing roleplaying opportunities.

Boon, Critical Hit/Fumble, and Curse cards can all be used in any gaming session where the DM sees fit in order to add an element of random chance and fortune (or misfortune) to the game. Use of these cards in actual game play may sometimes seem contrived, but much of the time it will seem very natural and realistic. In either case, they will be fun and that is what is most important!

DMs can award these cards to (or inflict them on) players for good roleplay, staying within alignment (or not), teamwork, acts of extreme bravery or selfishness, or any other reason deemed fit.

Whether the fortunes smile or frown on your players is entirely up to them. With A Turn of Events, everything can change!
