Budo: Hard Style Wushu takes the popular Wushu game system and retools it for intense, risky action gaming.

Use the base Wushu Open system to ensure that your character always succeeds. Create detailed characters with specific mental, physical and social abilities. If you lose ground with one set of traits, switch to another and fight on!

New rules share more power between players and the GM - and let players influence events when their characters aren't there. Gritty options let you increase lethality without losing the flavor of the action.

These new systems can enhance an existing Wushu campaign, or you can play Budo as a self contained RPG. Budo is a universal system, but the assumed background evokes a cinematic vision of feudal Japan.

This product includes two files: a full color press quality PDF and an easy-to-print black and white version.

Note: In response to reviews and gamer feedback, we've revised Budo. This new Kumite Edition uses easy to understand terminology, tweaks the rules for better play and introduces a sample setting in the form of the Iridescent Kingdom, based on feudal Okinawa.
